The ADFX-01 Morgan, along with its more heavily armed and armored version, the ADFX-02, were built by the South-Belka Munitions Corporation. This company was later acquired by Gründer Industries. The Morgan was put into use during the Belkan War, and its battle data led to construction of the ADF-01 Falken.

The ADFX (Advanced Defense Fighter Experimental) series is a family of highly-advanced prototype superfighters capable of carring experimental battle ordnance during the Belkan War. It's weaponry consists of a high powered 25mm cannon, advanced missiles, a prototype TLS weapon pod (predecessor to the Falken's; a large pod mounted on the aircraft's back), and an extremely powerful new weapon known as the Multi-Purpose Ballistc Missile - arguably even more lethal than the laser cannon in terms of its splash radius, but not damage -, which is a scaled-down, airplane-portable version of the burst missiles deployed by the Yuktobanian underwater carrier Scinfaxi during the 2010 Circum-Pacific War. The Morgan can also be equipped with an experimental ECM pod that works as a normal anti-missile system on the 01 while the 02 version has a cutting-edge prototype, continuously activated to shield it from enemy attacks (effectively rendering the Morgan invincible to any type of attack). The ADFX-02 is also known to have an extremely powerful on-board computer system, the likes of which can control the Belkan V2 MIRV System. Only two models of the ADFX "Morgan" project have been produced, these being the ADFX-01 and ADFX-02. Each aircraft was believed to be under the jurisdiction of the Belkan military.
[edit] The ADFX's Use Throughout the War

During the Belkan War, on December 31, 1995, an ADFX-02 unit piloted by the - then rogue - Larry "Solo-Wing Pixy" Foulke flew the Morgan during the Avalon Dam offensive, and (while the local forces were still oblivious of his presence) headed in direction of the 66 AFU Galm, and attempted to assasinate his former flight lead Cipher by employing the Morgan's TLS cannon from BVR, but ended up killing Cipher's number 2 (who sacrificed himself by getting in the laser's way) in the process; the 2 engaged in the war's final battle, and Cipher slowly stripped the Morgan of it's weapons, until the aircraft was critically damaged, and then destroyed. This meant the destruction of the only known ADFX-02 ever produced. An ADFX-01 was reportedly procured from the Belkans by the Ustio Air Force during the Hoffnung offensive, but it is unknown whether the Ustian Morgan still even exists.

However, it is safe to assume that the Morgan became the basis for the ADF-01 FALKEN, due to the obvious similarities. It is also possible that some design elements influenced the X-02 Wyvern developed by the Erusians.

Excellent design. It's the fighter flown by Solo Wing Pixy in Ace Combat Zero, last level after destroying the V2 facility.

My favorite Ace Combat Aircraft.

That, and Cipher is my favorite ace. Although the Burst Missiles are so cheap.

i always thought the plane looked a lot MORE like the Su-47 Berkut, but now after looking at it here, I can see all kinds of differences outside of the reverse-swept wings.
