Description
File A56-7W. Top secret. Subject: AIRWOLF, a Mach-3 plus attack helicopter. Sought by governments friendly and foreign, AIRWOLF has been hidden by test pilot Stringfellow Hawke - to be returned to the government only if his brother, St. John, an MIA in afghanistan, can be found.
Michael Coldsmith Briggs III, code name: Archangel - Deputy Director of the intelligence agency that developed AIRWOLF.
Believed to covertly provide logistical support to Hawke in exchange for flying AIRWOLF on missions of national interest.
Hawke is 34...reclusive, sensitive...a loner. Known to associate with his only friend and mentor, Dominic Santini.
Together, Hawke and Santini fly AIRWOLF at speeds rivaling the fastest jets. Backed by unmatched firepower, AIRWOLF is a weapon too dangerous to be left in unenlightened hands. Finding AIRWOLF is your number one priority. END OF FILE.

Profile:
Airwolf was born from the success of the F/A-70 Panther 2. The top-secret CIA black organization known as “The Firm” conceived of a totally silent stealth helicopter, which could act as a support platform for the F/A-70, as well as carrying stealth missions on its own. Designated “Airwolf”, it was designed and built by Dr. Charles Henry Moffett, an eccentric aviation engineer with a genius level of intelligence. However, after building and testing a working design, Dr. Moffett stole the only functional prototype and flew it to Iraq, intent on selling it to the Army of Purity. Determined to recover their prototype aircraft, the Firm sent in Stringfellow Hawke, an experienced helicopter pilot and commando. Hawke infiltrated the hidden base where Moffett was hiding while he waited for representatives from the Army of Purity in the region. Though Hawke managed to steal Airwolf, he was pursued by Army of Purity attack helicopters, led by Moffett himself, who flew his own personal attack helicopter. Using Airwolf, Hawke destroyed the attackers, saving Moffett for last. Upon returning to the United States, Hawke hid Airwolf in a location that only HE and his friend Dominic Santini knew about. Though Hawke worked for the Firm, he did not trust it, nor its leader, a mysterious man known as “Archangel”. Archangel knows how powerful Airwolf is, and tolerates Hawke’s hiding it, but his tolerance will only last so long.
Airwolf is arguably the most powerful helicopter in the world. Airwolf is a type of helicopter known as a “whispercraft”. It helicopter flight mode Airwolf is capable of blinding speed and possesses unparalleled maneuverability. However, like all whispercraft, Airwolf can fold her rotors against the top of her fuselage, thus making them fixed wings. She then engages her auxiliary jets, granting her the ability to fly at hyper-sonic speeds. As a stealth helicopter, Airwolf is armed with two high powered electromagnetic railguns capable of either single or rapid fire. Her railguns can also be fire-linked, or can be fired independently, allowing Airwolf to function as a hovering sniper platform. Her railguns are powerful enough for her to act as either a bunker buster or a tank killer. In addition to her guns, Airwolf also carries an All Directional Firing (ADF) rocket pod, which can be retracted into one of her belly weapons bays. This ADF Pod can fire a wide variety of ordnance, and is capable of firing forward or aft. Flanking this ADF Pod are two internal missile bays. These missile bays are the heart and soul of Airwolf’s weapons systems. These missile bays can carry almost any kind of aircraft mountable missile or bomb. This gives Airwolf an unparalleled adaptability. She also carries the latest in stealth technology. She possesses a stealth skin that is 90% radar absorbent. This stealth skin also features the same kind of optical camouflage skin used by the F/A-70, allowing Airwolf to remain invisible even in broad daylight. Airwolf also carries a new kind of molecular bonded ballistic armor that makes her invulnerable to bullets, and highly resistant to most missiles. Equipped with state of the art sensors and electronic warfare systems, Airwolf can slip into hostile territory, and hack computers, jam electronics, tap all kinds of communications, and track an individual even in a crowd. Additionally, her sensor gear allows Airwolf to lock onto up to fifteen targets simultaneously, while tracking up to twenty-five additional targets.
i love this show.
